Simple Pleasures
One of our friends recently directed us to the fresh tortillas you can buy at Costco. Of course, being from Costco they come in a huge package, but you can store them in your freezer, peel off the number you need for any given meal, and then cook them individually. It may sound silly, but I love these tortillas! They transform a mediocre meal into something truly tasty. They are one of those items you come across in life that just make you happy every time you encounter them, kind of like green arrows at traffic lights, puffy clouds, toe rings...do you know what I mean?

I do know what you mean. Especially when it comes to Costco. I didn't know what I had until it was gone. No Costco out here. :( No more tasty rotisserie chicken, no more delicious samples around every corner, no more kirkland signature diapers, and no more hand dipped ice-cream bars rolled in almonds at the good court (one of the many reasons I was GINORMOUS when I was pregnant). And now this news about tortillas makes me sigh once again.
You are awesome with your love of puffy clouds and toe rings.
Actually, the best simple pleasure is eagerly awaiting the arrival of your Mom, Dad, sister and adorable neices for a whole week! I can hardly wait!
I have heard about those before and need to pick some up next time I am at Costco. They sound delicious!
I too was amazed when I discovered non baked tortillas. They truly do make all the difference. AND you can actually find them at any grocery store, usually in the cheese section. So long Wilson toritillas... we've discovered a new love.
