Convenience

Living in Philly is fun. It is very different. Things are quirky. The squished houses are old. The fact that you have to park on the street and walk home is less than convenient. Having two children and being a stay-at-home mom is an anomaly. But for some reason it is really agreeing with me so far.
I walked to center city yesterday to the nearest credit union and then pushed a double stroller with two sleeping girls around Trader Joe's while trying to get groceries. Then I had to park half a block away, ferry the girls to the house in the rain and then go back for the groceries while they hung out on the steps of the house. Nothing about life here is convenient, but it is fun. Fun in a quirky sort of way.

Wow, what a fun adventure! We miss you guys and your zany humor, as well as your love of games, chatting, laughing, bike riding, ultimate frisbee, hiking and anything else fun. So glad that you're enjoying things so far in Philly. Hmmm, that does have a nice ring to it...you're a Philly girl now. ;) You are officially my hero for braving all the adventures and the cross country drive with a one-year old (not to mention another child)!

How fun! You are totally super woman! Those girls are going to grow up to love philly and have such fond memories of the town and won't even BELIEVE the stories you tell them of all the little hard moments you may have/had because of the wonderful memories you will give them. Lucky little ladies I'd say! :) Can't wait to hear and see more of your new adventure and covet every second! :)
You're neighbors are certainly lucky people to have you next door. :)

Love all these updates, Sunny! What adventures!

As far as coming to help, no worries there. I'm all set. Plus my place is teeny tiny! So instead let's plan on getting together for a holiday or something, after things get all settled down. You are sweet to consider it though, cousin.

Rock on in Philly.
